Welcome Letter
Dear Parents and Guardians, my name is Ms. Cartwright and I will be your child’s homeroom teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. This is going to be a fun and exciting academic year of learning! Please take a moment to review the following; this information will help us have a great start to the year!
Please write your child’s name in his/her uniform so it can be returned to them if they lose it. Please note: Students must wear the P.E. uniform on days when they have Physical Education and Health.
Your child must bring his/her laptop to school every day. The laptop should be fully charged.
Today your child has been given his/her textbooks. Please sign the Textbook Loan Form, and return the textbook package and form to the classroom as soon as possible.
Soon, students will set up a Google Classroom online account. Please check this every night for assigned homework.
Students will be informed approximately 5 days before a test.
Hong Kong is very hot and humid most of the year. Please always send your son/daughter with a water bottle to use at the re-fillable stations. Also, allowing your child to keep extra coins to buy water is recommended.
Please download and read with your child the Student and Parent Handbook, located at http://www.delia.edu.hk/elementary- documents.aspx
If you have any questions or concerns, I can be reached at [email protected].
